The Bhar are a Hindu caste found in North India. They are also known as Rajbhar.[1]

Like others from other castes, Baijnath Prasad Adhyapak was influenced by the Arya Samaj movement when he released Rajbhar Jati ka Itihas in 1940. This book made an effort to demonstrate that the Rajbhars were once kings who were descended from the Bhar tribe.
