Bhaya (tribe)

Bhaya or Bhayo (Sindhi: ڀَيا) is a Sindhi Rajput or Sammat tribe of Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan. There are different theories about its origin, according to one tradition Bhaya is a Rathore tribe, another theory is that Bhaya was a son of Unar, while other say it is a clan of Sodha Rajputs of Bhati.[1] It is very prominent tribe of North Sindh specially in Jacobabad and Kashmore districts, where they are in majority.[2][3][4][5]
