Bhoothakaalam is an upcoming Malayalam-language film written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan.[1] [2]It stars Shane Nigam, Revathi, Saiju Kurup.[3] The film is jointly produced by Teresa Rani and Sunila Habeeb under the banner PLAN T Films in association with Shane Nigam Films and Anwar Rasheed Entertainments.[4][5][6]Shane Nigam is making his debut as a music director as well as producer.[7] Gopi Sundar handles the background score.[8] [9]Principal photography took place from January 2021 to February 2021 in Kochi. The official first looks poster was released by actor Dulquer Salmaan through his Facebook page on 4th October.[10][11]
Bhoothakaalam is scheduled to be released on the streaming service SonyLIV on 21 January 2022.[12][13][14]
Synopsis[edit]
Following the death of a family member, a mother and son experience mysterious events which distort their sense of reality and make them question their sanity.[15][16][17][18]
