Bhushan Shimpi is a Maharashtrian actor, singer, theatre artist, writer, engineer, and a senior student of Madhya Pradesh School of Drama. He was born in Nepanagar in Madhya Pradesh and raised in Pachora of Jalgaon district. He is known in Maharashtra for his act "Ek Slice Bread".[1]
Life and career
Bhushan Shimpi completed his primary schooling from Supadu Bhadu Vidyalaya and went on to complete secondary schooling at Gose High School up to 10th in Pachora. He also completed higher education in 11th and 12th at Shri Seth Murlidharji Mansingka College. During his school and college years, he had a hobby of acting, dancing, and singing. He also learned various instruments like the harmonium, flute, dafali, and mouth organ. In 2015-16, he was admitted to Madhya Pradesh Natya Vidyalaya and completed a one-year diploma in theatre.
Works
He has worked in the Zee5 movie *Silence... Can You Hear It?* as a Police Constable Javed. He was part of a web series *High* as a gun dealer. In Pune he worked in many plays with various theatre groups like Muktaayan, Atharva Theatre, Prayog Theatre, Kathalay Theatre Festival and ekankika competition in Maharashtra.[2] He was part of the web series *Scam 1992*, *High* on MX Player, *Maharaja Chhatrasal*, and *Sandwich*.
