Watching Big Syphe win over a crowded club with his irresistible mix and irrepressible personality, it is hard to imagine there was a time when the Los Angeles-native was too shy to tell people he was a DJ.

Before becoming the successful DJ he is today, Big Syphe started out by promoting parties around his neighborhood, working on mix tapes and selling them at his parties and at local mom and pop shops.

These first steps impressed various DJs around the area, which started a career he has continued ever since.

From Las Vegas and Miami to Asia, South Africa and Brazil, he has toured and performed solo and with various artists throughout his career.
