Bikes & Beers is a road cycling event series in which participants ride either a 15, 30, or 45-mile route. Each ride begins and ends at a host brewery and benefits local cycling charities.[1] The rides are not timed or competitive; they are a casual cycling experience used for fun or training purposes.[2] Back at the host brewery is a post-ride brewery festival.[3]

Past Events
Bikes & Beers Social Distancing Virtual Challenge was a 12-week virtual cycling challenge during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Riders registered and competed virtually to log miles, elevation, and total time on the bike. Each rider was shipped Bikes & Beers merchandise as well as beer tokens to redeem at over 200 participating breweries nationwide.[5] Beers & Bikes partnered with the Gates Foundation Philanthropy Partners to distribute proceeds from the event to coronavirus relief.[6]
