Bill Tancer is an American author, data analyst, and researcher known for his work on online consumer behavior. Tancer is a co-founder of Signos.
Education
Tancer earned a Bachelor of Science in quantitative management from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from Mercer University.[1]
Career
Tancer has held leadership roles at Experian, where he was general manager of global research,[2] and at Hitwise, and is a co-founder of Signos.[3]
He is the author of Click: What Millions of People Are Doing Online and Why It Matters (2008) and Everyone’s a Critic (2014); Click was named a New York Times bestseller.[4] He has also written a column for Time magazine titled "The Science of Search."[2]
