Billy McGuinness
Billy McGuinness is the rhythm guitarist and harmonica player and occasional keyboard player of the popular Irish rock-band Aslan. He was raised in Dublin's northside. His career of over twenty-five years has been characterized by numerous successes on the Irish charts. He lists David Bowie and Pink Floyd as his influences. He was also in The Precious Stones during Aslan's split in the very early 90's.
McGuinness is the band's spokesperson to the press along with frontman Christy Dignam. He has also personally booked the bands support acts for many years now which includes the likes of Royseven, Damien Rice, Rob Smith, Damien Dempsey, George Murphy and many more over the years.
He is married and lives in Bettystown Ireland. He has two sons Jake and Liam McGuinness.
