Bindrune Recordings

Bindrune Recordings is northern Michigan’s leading metal label. Co-founded in 2000 by Marty “Worm” Rytkonen of Wormgear metal zine and The Glorious Dead. The label regularly publishes promotional videos of their acts to the Bindrune YouTube channel.

Current major artists signed with the label include the famous RABM act Panopticon, and the Native American themed band Nechochwen.

History

The label previously operated alongside their sister label, Eihwaz, as the “The Collective”; but the two separated webstores in February of 2017. The label also maintained a distribution partnership with Nordvis Produktion of Kåge Sweden between 2017 and 2019. In December of 2019 Bindrune signed a distribution deal with Season of Mist, allowing buyers in Europe and Australia easier access to the Bindrune catalog.

Former major artists signed to the label include; Waldgeflüster, Alda, and Ifing.
