BioDot is an American laboratory automation manufacturer based in Irvine, California.[2] BioDot is a subsidiary of ATS Automation Tooling Systems[3] and manufactures automated liquid handling systems[4][5].

History

In 1994, BioDot was founded by Dr. Thomas Tisone and Michael Surmanian, to provide automation to the diagnostics laboratory and manufacturing market[6][7].

BioDot experienced significant growth due to the COVID-19 pandemic[8] as a result of its lateral flow systems[9][10].

In 2021, ATS acquired the company from Artemis[11][12][13]
