Biomics is the study of biomes, and the processing of obtained information, such as ecological communities of organisms. Biomics is part of biogeography and ecology. Biomics uses bioinformatics to collectively analyze diverse biome data. A biome may contain very large scale omics information, such as a metagenome and pangenome.[citation needed] It is not clear if it exists, or a wikipedia editor invented it.[citation needed]
