Bir Singh is an Indian singer, composer and lyricist who makes Punjabi-language music.
Early life[edit]
Singh was born Tejbir Singh in Amritsar, Punjab. He belongs to the village of Nagoke located in the Tarn Taran district in Punjab, India. His father Davinder Singh is an officer in the Punjab electricity board. His younger brother Jodhbir Singh manages and runs the house. His grandmother Pyar Kaur lives with them. Bir’s mother Paramjit Kaur passed away in 2008.[1]
Singh graduated from Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Amritsar. He then graduated from Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology (ACET), Manawala, as a mechanical engineer. He began a master's degree in business administration but dropped out partway through to make singing his career.
