The 'Birat Futsal Cup' is the current annual futsal competition organized by O.B. Media Pvt. Ltd. ‘Birat Futsal Cup’ is the biggest futsal tournament held in Eastern Nepal to date. It is a continuation to develop the newly introduced tradition of futsal into competition. Organizer believe this tournament will set the culture of sportsmanship and leadership in this part. The tournament will see 128 players from 16 teams battle for the trophy of "BIRAT FUTSAL CUP"
History and format
A trial edition named Birat Futsal Cup 2016, was run in 2016 with sixteen teams participating. Manmohan Polytechnic beat Makalu Television 5-3 in the final.[1]
