Biratnagar Warriors, often called The Warriors is one of the six franchises competing on Everest Premier League. It is currently led by the national cricket team captain, Paras Khadka. The team represents the city of Biratnagar in Morang district of Nepal, and won the 2017 Everest Premier League Title .Warriors clinch trophy crushing Bhirahawa Gladiators by 1 runs in the finals.Founded in 2017,the Biratnagar franchise is owned by Vishal Agrawal.Paras Khadka is the captain of the team.It also contains likely foreign players like Babar Hayat who was player of the tournament of 2017 Everest Premier League and Anshuman Rath as well.

Franchise[edit]

The Everest Premier League began it's second season in 2018 with 6 teams from representing different cities and districts of Nepal. Biratnagar Warriors was part of the founding team to participate in the EPL 2017 along with Lalitpur Patriots,Pokhara Rhinos,Kathmandu Kins XI,Bhairahawa Gladiators and Chitwan Tigers.It was owned by Vishal Agrawal representing Biratnagar,the city at the Eastern plains of Nepal.Later in Auction,It bought some of the best players of nepal like Avinash Karn,Karan KC and Basant Regmi supported by the duo of Honkong National Cricket Team i.e Babar Hayat and Anshuman Rath and captain of Nepali National Cricket Team,Paras Khadka as well.It was fans favourites in the tournament likely to win the tournament.As per the expectations of the fans,it later went to win it with Babar Hayat as the player of the tournament and Basanta Regmis as the leading wicket taker.
