Birkelbach Field is a stadium located in Georgetown, Texas, and is the main home stadium of the Georgetown High School Eagles, East View Patriots, and Southwestern Pirates,[1] with the first two being Football and Soccer and the latter one is just Football and plays Soccer at the small Varsity Field.[2] The field is named for Benard Birkelbach a former Georgetown High School football coach and teacher, and Southwestern University Alumni. This is also currently the home of the UIL 4-6A Soccer semifinals and finals.[3] In 2023 it was reported that Southwestern University has put in an inquiry and bid in for a new football stadium specifically dedicated to Southwestern located either on campus or nearby making it easier for the team and students to get to the field in time.[4]
