Birley Wood Golf Club is a golf club located at Birley in Sheffield, England . The course is 5,879 yards (5,376 m) long with a par of 69.[1] The course sits on land that was historically in Derbyshire, being located to the north of Ridgeway, close to the Derbyshire border near Eckington. The A6135 runs parallel with the course.[2][3][4]

The club was founded in 1974, on the site of the original hamlet of Birley, the clubhouses are housed in original buildings.[5][6]
