Biyaheroes was started by a group of commuters from the Philippines who wanted to make public transportation an easier experience for everyone. The idea came to life within one year of planning.
Biyaheroes is a streamlined solution that tackles the challenging setting of public transportation in the Philippines. The startup also aims to promote local communities through tourism via sustainable modes of transport and modern technologies. It is 100% locally owned and funded.

Their online reservations system lets you book your commutes in the Philippines. They are partnered with over 20 transport providers all over Luzon[3], Visayas[4], and Mindanao[5]

Etymolgy:[edit]
EEssentially a pun, Biyaheroes roots from two words: “biyahe”[8] which is Tagalog for traveling, and “heroes” which is an English word for bringers of impactful change. “Biyahero” is also a Tagalog term for a traveler. The founders of biyaheroes.com thought that coining the term “Biyaheroes”[9] and using this as the name of the website is witty, accurate, and localized to represent their homegrown origins.
