Black film is an upcoming American superhero drama film based on the comic book of the same name.

Young Kareem Jenkins joins a secret underground group of black super heroes and must choose between personal revenge against cops or collective action to achieve real and lasting change.

On August 3, 2017, Studio 8 has acquired the rights to the Black Mask Studios’ comic book series “Black” with Jon Silk, Rishi Rajani, Matt Pizzolo, Kwanza Osajyefo and Tim Smith producing the film.[1] On April 23, 2018, Seith Mann was hired to write the script.[2]
