From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Black Hive Media (often referred to as "Black Hive") is a independent video game studio based near Austin, Tx that was founded in 2009 by husband and wife Blake and Miranda (Mandy) Lowry.[1] Their first major release was "AlphaLink" for Xbox consoles which was included in a demo event during the Summer Games Fest in 2020.[2][3][4] The team was known for independently developing the title "AlphaLink" during a turbulent 2020 after having been laid off and in the middle of adopting their first child.[5]

Black Hive launched into the public square with their crowdfunded titled Kova, a metroidvania video game.[6][7][8]
