Black Widows is an upcoming ZEE5 Original Indian language Web series directed by Birsa Dasgupta and produced by Namit Sharma. The show stars Mona Singh, Swastika Mukherjee, Shamita Shetty, Sharad Kelkar, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Aamir Ali & Raima Sen. The series is produced by Big Synergy Media Ltd and will release through ZEE5 on 13th November 2020. The story revolves around three women who secretly murder their husbands, making it look like an accident after being tired of their abusive and unloving behaviour. It is an almost perfect plan till Pankaj Mishra who has been appointed the case, realises that there is more to it than what it seems.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Plot[edit]
This story is about Veera, Jayati and Kavita who after being tired of their abusive and unloving husbands, plan and execute their murder ,making it look like a boat accident. It is a secret the three women share, one that would help them lead happier lives. The police investigation led by Inspectors Pankaj Misra and Rinku Sharma, do not suspect the ‘grieving widows’ until the accident is confirmed to be a bomb blast by the forensics . To add to the misery, the women realise that the transport company run by one of their victims, Jatin was involved in some shady dealings and that he might not be dead at all. What starts as a simple plan by the women, now becomes a web that begins to trap them.[7][8][9][10]
