Blayde Blas (born 19 August 2002 in Guam) is a two time Guam Road cycling national champion[3] and mountain bike cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Template:UCI team code.[4]
Blas competed at the UCI Road World Championships in the U23 Time Trial and Road Race in Woolongong in 2022, Australia, where he became the first male cyclist from Guam to participate in a UCI Road World Championships. He finished 43rd in the Time Trial. He failed to finish the Road Race.
In 2022 Blas became the first male cyclist from Guam to participate in a 2.1 category UCI event when he took part in the Tour de Taiwan.
In 2023 Blas became the first male cyclist from Guam to race a UCI road event in Europe when he took part in the International Tour of Rhodes, the Rhodes Grand Prix, and the Touth Aegean Tour[5]
Blas reprisented Guam at the 2022 Oceania Continental MTB Championships in the U23 category, the 2022 UCI Road World Championships Road Race in the U23 category, the 2022 UCI Road World Championships Time Trial in the U23 category, the 2022 Pacific Cup Road Race & Time Trial in the combined U23 & Elite category held in Guam and the 2023 Pacific Cup Road Race & Time Trial in the combined U23 & Elite category held in Tahiti.
