Blinkfire Analytics is an American software as a service company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, that provides AI-powered sponsorship intelligence and media valuation for sports, entertainment, and media organizations. The company was founded in 2014 and uses computer vision and machine learning to measure the value of brand exposures across social media, digital content, broadcast television, and streaming platforms.[1]
Founding
Blinkfire Analytics was founded in 2014 by Steve Olechowski and Juan Luis Hortelano in Chicago, Illinois.[2]
Olechowski, who serves as CEO, previously co-founded FeedBurner, a web feed management and podcast syndication platform that was acquired by Google in 2007. Hortelano serves as COO and is based at the company's second office in Valencia, Spain.[3]
In September 2017, the company raised a $1.6 million funding round led by Harrison Metal, with participation from Dick Costolo, former CEO of both FeedBurner and Twitter.[4]
