Bliss (2017 TV Series)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Bliss is a TV series created by David Cross. It stars Stephen Mangan, Jo Hartley and Heather Graham. The series received mixed reviews from critics and a limited following, perhaps best evidenced by the fact that it only had a Wikipedia page created 3 months after it premiered in major markets..[1]

Set in Bristol, the series follows an increasingly troubled travel writer who routinely alternates between two completely separate households, neither of which being aware of his other life. He covertly uses his offshore profession as the reasoning for his extended absences from the dinner tables. The series begins with him 15 years into the charade, however there are flashbacks aplenty to explain the inception of his predicament. Hilarity ensues as his two lives begin to intersect, resulting in increasingly farcical situations and a series of lies that progressively erode any residual sympathy that the viewer may have for the leading male. Our protagonist's low point is perhaps when his son and daughter verge on dating, an incestual situation which is thankfully overted through one of his many unlikely fixes.
