Blistermud is an American nu metal band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 2021. They are signed to Work Shop Recordings, a subsidiary of Underdog Records in Detroit, owned by Grayson Rupp. Blistermud was originally a duo featuring a drummer, and they released one album before disbanding in 2023. The album was renamed Tapes From the Junk Drawer and labeled as a demo album. The band released their debut album in 2025 titled Anything For Nothing through Work Shop Recordings. The drummer would leave and form a band called The Custodians. Rupp would keep the band going, also while recording, producing, mixing, and mastering for the band along with being the guitarist, bassist, drummer, and vocalist.
