Blitz Union is a Czech rock band formed in Prague in 2019. The band consists of bassist Schtorm, lead vocalist Mark Blitz, guitarist Shodushi and drummer Governor. Blitz Union released their debut self-titled album in 2021. Some of Blitz Union's most popular songs include "Plastic", "Money-Crazy World" and "Revolution". The song "Plastic" was released in 2021 in addition to the original English language, also in Spanish, Russian, Japanese, German and Czech.[1]

Career[edit]

Blitz Union was officially launched in 2019 when they released first music video "Revolution" and played their first shows in Whisky a Go Go Los Angeles.[2][3] In March 2019, Blitz Union presented their band on an international music conference Musexpo in Los Angeles.[4][5]

The musicians describe their musical style as EDM-rock which "consists of heavy riffs, energy-driven rock elements and catchy EDM and pop hooks".[6]

The topics of the songs are the social and political problems that people face like environmental destruction, climate change, abuse of power, political persecution, homophobia, isolation, exploitation, corruption, the bubble mentality, and social injustice.[7]

A Venezuelan musician and DJ Zardonic released remixes of the songs "Revolution", "Money-Crazy World" and "Plastic" in 2021.
