Blue Origin NS‑36 was a sub-orbital spaceflight operated by Blue Origin as part of its New Shepard space tourism program. The flight launched from Launch Site One (Corn Ranch) in West Texas on October 8, 2025 UTC. The launch window opened at 13:00 UTC.[1]

This mission represents the 15th human flight and the 36th overall flight of the New Shepard program.[2]

The flight's passengers include Jeff Elgin, an executive in the franchise industry; Danna Karagussova, who works in media, distribution, and events; Dr. Clint Kelly III, an electrical engineer who previously flew on Blue Origin NS-22; Aaron Newman, entrepreneur and ocean explorer; and Vitalii Ostrovsky, a Ukrainian businessman. The last seat is held by an undisclosed sixth crew member.[3]

Details

In collaboration with Utah State University, Aaron Newman will be taking part in a study focused on human adaptation to spaceflight, with an emphasis on vestibular function and motion sickness.[4]
