From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

BoardPaq, LLC, known as BoardPaq, is a software as a service (SaaS) company that provides collaboration software for board of directors, leadership teams and committees. The company is headquartered in Saint Charles, Missouri. BoardPaq has been named one of the fastest growing private businesses in the nation by Inc. (magazine) 5000 List for 2017 and 2018.[1]

History[edit]

BoardPaq was founded by Randy Schilling in 2011. Prior to BoardPaq, Schilling founded his first company Quilogy as Solutech in 1992, with $5,000 of personal savings. By 1999, the company grew to 250 employees with 11 offices.[2]In January 2001, Solutech changed its name to Quilogy.[3]Quilogy was sold to Aspect Software in January of 2010.[4]In early 2011, Schilling once again teamed up with his Chief Technology Officer from Quilogy, Alan Groh to develop BoardPaq. BoardPaq was initially released as an Apple iPad application and released in the Apple App store on August 22, 2011. The early success of BoardPaq grew with the rapid adoption of Apple's iPad and the cost savings achieved by building the solution on top of Microsoft's Azure Cloud Service.[5]

In 2015, Schilling founded OPO Startups, a co-working center for digital startups providing space and access to mentors, investors, programming, educational resources, and a community of local entrepreneurs. Today, BoardPaq is a founding member of OPO Startups.[6]
