The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (BPEQ) is the body that was created by the Queensland Professional Engineers Act. The act dictates how BPEQ operates.

BPEQ provides registration services for professional engineers living anywhere in the world.

Engineers who work are physically located in Queensland, or who are working on a project located Queensland often need to either be an RPEQ, or be supervised by an RPEQ.
