Bob F. Brown (born October 29, 1943) is the mayor of Lufkin, Texas.[1]

Early life/Career[edit]

Brown was born on October 29, 1943 in Brady, Texas, he graduated from Brady High school. He got his BBA from Texas Tech University. He then got a job at Oncor in Waxahachie, Texas. He was promoted to Waco, Brownwood, Tyler, and eventually to Lufkin as assistant manager. He retired in 2006 with 40 years of service.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Brown and his wife Tony have been married for over 40 years. They have two daughters Tana, and Denna (deceased in 1993), and 2 grandchildren Grayson and Griffin. Brown has attended Lufkin First Christian Church for over 29 years, he teaches Sunday School for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.[3]

In 2012 Bob Brown beat incumbent Jack Gordon Jr; he had been in office for 6 years.[4]
