Bob Cryer (actor)
Bob Cryer is perhaps best known to TV audiences as series regular Glenn Donovan [1] in Hollyoaks [2] and whilst he hasn't quite got the full soap dish, has also appeared in Eastenders [3], Coronation Street [4], Holby City [5], Doctors [6] and The Bill [7]. He was also a regular on BBC's The Interceptor [8] and has other TV credits including Victoria Wood's Midlife Christmas [9], and Outnumbered [10]. Bob's theatre credits include The Sting [11] and Into Thy Hands [12] (at Wilton's Music Hall[13]), The Tempest (Barbican> & Middle East Tour) and the Ardent Theatre “Party Lines” election night project.[14]. He trained at Lamda [15]
As a writer he is best known as the co-creator (with his father Barry Cryer) of The Mrs Hudson's Diaries series of books [16], plays [17] and radio shows [18](with Patricia Hodge and Miriam Margolyes) for Radio 4.
