Robert Margeas is an American based esthetic dentist and educationist.[1]
Education[edit]
Margeas holds a degree in dentistry from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry (1986). He completed his AEGD residency in 1987.[2] By March 2020, he was an adjunct professor in the department of Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa.[3]
Career[edit]
Margeas is an esthetic dentist with a focus on cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry.[4][5][6] He is based in Des Moines, Iowa.[7]
Margeas lectures on esthetic and restorative dentistry in the United States and abroad.[8][9][10][11] He has written various articles on a multitude of topics relating to esthetic and comprehensive restorative dentistry.[12][13][14]
As of 2020[update], Margeas is editor in chief of Inside Dentistry and a contributing editor to Oral Health in Canada. He is on the editorial board of Compendium.[15]
Professional associations[edit]
Margeas is a diplomate[clarification needed] of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry[16] and a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Society for Dental Aesthetics and International Team of Oral Implantologists (ITI).[17]
He is a member of OKU Honor Dental Society, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry.[18][19]
