Bobby Moore Academy
Bobby Moore Academy will be a free school in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which will open for Year 7 students in September 2017.[1]
The secondary site will eventually educate young people from 11-18 on Stadium Island. A primary school will sit alongside, overlooking the canal, that will educate over 400 children (opening for reception children in September 2018).
Bobby Moore Academy will be sponsored by the David Ross Education Trust (DRET).
Stephanie Moore, formerly married to Sir Bobby, declared the project a "great honour".[2]
