History

Bogen Communications LLC was founded in 1932 in New York City, by David Bogen, a Russian immigrant and former employee at Consolidated Edison. The company's original name was 'David Bogen & Company’. In 1956, Bogen was acquired by the Unitronics Corporation. In 1987, Bogen Communications acquired New England Audio Resources, Inc. (NEAR).
