Bokkisam
Bokkisam is a name derived from Sanskrit, bakasam meaning treasure. This is a family name of the residents of Kamma, Balija/Kapu (caste) subsect of Hindus living in Andhra Pradesh. They are customerily residents of Kakumanu in Guntur, Muchivolu village in Chittoor and some places in Prakasam districts of the State. Most of the members of the family are into agrarian business and farmers, of late there is an increase of education and people have been moving out of their traditional jobs.
