Bombshells Restaurant & Bar is an American military-themed casual dining restaurant and sports bar chain headquartered in Houston. The concept is owned and was developed by RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc., a public company trading on NASDAQ under the symbol RICK.[2]
History
The first location opened in Dallas in 2013. Bombshells has 12 locations in Texas, one in Greenwood Village, and a 13th location opening in Stafford, TX in October 2023. In 2018, Restaurant Business magazine named Bombshells to its "The Future 50" list of fastest-growing concepts.[3] In 2022, RCI announced a Bombshells franchise agreement for three locations in Alabama, the first being in Huntsville.[4]
The Concept

Locations are large (10,000-12,500 square feet with an outdoor patio). They resemble military aircraft hangars, filled with military memorabilia (such as aircraft wings over the bar) and dozens of HDTVs. The chain is also known for its “Bombshells Girls” servers, outfitted with military-inspired uniforms, who bring to life timeless WWII-era pin-up girls from calendars, posters and “nose art” paintings on military aircraft.[2]
Marketing
Bombshells offers veterans and active duty US military servicemembers a 20% discount on all menu items throughout the year. On Veteran’s Day, military veterans are entitled to free entrees, and their families receive a 20% discount on entrees.[5]
