Products[edit]

Bonalive® granules[edit]

The Bonalive® granules product received CE approval for the claim “Bone cavity filling in the treatment of chronic osteomyelitis” in 2011.[1] The granules are a bone cavity filler intended for the resolution of bone infections, and for use in orthopedic, trauma, spine and mastoid surgery. Available in different sizes, the granules are designed to meet the needs of various surgical procedures. [2]

Bonalive® putty[edit]

A bioactive, osteoconductive and osteostimulative* synthetic bone cavity filler, Bonalive® putty is delivered as a sterile ready-to-use paste, requiring no mixing, moistening or other preparation. It is an optimized bone graft substitute for orthopedic, trauma and spine surgery, consisting of S53P4 bioactive glass in addition to a synthetic binder, i.e. a blend of polyethylene glycols (PEGs) and glycerol. [3]

Bonalive® putty MIS[edit]

The putty MIS offers healthcare professionals an easy and safe solution for filling the hardest-to-reach bone voids or gaps. Easy to dispense and reaching a depth of up to 16 cm, the device provides controlled access, delivery and application for healthcare professionals. The exchangeable, pre-filled cartridges are only 8 mm thick in diameter and are used together with the dispenser. Each dispense releases 0.25 cc of putty. [4]
