History

Bond Sports was founded in 2020 by former Yale men's basketball captain Matt Minoff and entrepreneur Marc Rothschild.[3] In 2023, the company announced a multi-year partnership with Black Bear Sports Group to provide digital operations for the operator's 36 ice rinks and related programs.[4]

Products

The company offers a cloud platform for facility scheduling, program and league registration, membership management, and payments.[5] In 2025, Bond Sports launched Bond ID, a digital pass to streamline facility check-ins.[6]

Adoption

In 2020, Yale Sports and Recreation adopted the platform for campus facility reservations.[7]

Investors and funding

According to PitchBook, Bond Sports is backed by multiple venture capital firms, including Resolve Growth Partners, Correlation Ventures, Rally Ventures, Pareto Holdings, and Remarkable Ventures.[8]

CapEdge—a platform summarizing SEC filings—reports that Bond Sports sold $2 million in equity in May 2023 and $7.63 million in equity in September 2024.[9]

Tracxn lists that the company raised a total of $9.63 million across two rounds: a $2 million seed round in May 2023 and a $7.63 million Series A in August 2024.[10]

According to a blog post by Rally Ventures, they led Bond Sports’ Series A round, co-investing with Correlation Ventures.[11]
