Born Again is an upcoming realm-like massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) roguelite with a focus on ability usage. The game is currently in development by Unnamed Studios, a game development company based in the United States.
Gameplay
Born Again is set in a mystical realm where players are tasked with exploring various procedurally generated environments, facing off against challenging enemies and bosses, and discovering powerful loot to aid them in their quest. The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes, with the latter allowing players to team up with others to take on greater challenges.
One of the key features of Born Again is its emphasis on ability usage. Players will have access to a wide variety of abilities that can be customized to suit their playstyle, and they will need to carefully choose which abilities to use in order to overcome different types of enemies and obstacles. The game also features permadeath, meaning that if a player dies, they will lose all of their progress and loot, adding a high-stakes element to the gameplay.
Development

The game has completed the first of three closed alpha tests in February 2023. Born Again does not yet have an official release date, but Unnamed Studios has stated that they are aiming to release the game sometime in late 2023. The game will be available on PC, Mac, and Mobile.
