Born Lucky is an American television game show hosted by Bob Goen, with Jonathan Coleman announcing. Four contestants competed in stunts at various shopping malls for a chance to win $2,000.[1] The show aired on Lifetime from October 5, 1992, to April 2, 1993, and went into reruns on the same network until December 31, 1993. PAX TV briefly aired reruns in 2000.
The show was loosely based on a 1989 British game show of the same name hosted by Jeremy Beadle.
Format[edit]
Each player had a chance to win up to $100 by participating in a stunt, such as following a sequence of commands or solving brain teasers. The top two players moved on to the Challenge Round.
Challenge Round[edit]
In the second round, the two remaining players bid to see who could accomplish the stunt within a time limit. The winner moved on to the Bonus Round.
Bonus Round[edit]
The winning player had 90 seconds to complete 5 additional stunts to win $2,000. If they failed, they received $100 for each stunt accomplished.
