Boshke Beats Records is a independent record label that combines techno with psychedelic trance elements and is currently based out of Viljandi, Estonia. It was founded in 2000 by DJ Alex Tolstey, Ber Mitchell, and painter-designer Inga Burina in Canada.
Alex Tolstey's latest compilation, Outlaws Vol. 2, was recently released on IbogaTech Records.[1][2]. In the latest interview to Musicis4lovers magazine, Tolstey discusses the musical journey of BoshkeBeats Records[3].
Notable releases by Boshke Beats include Extrawelt and X-Dream[4], who later appeared on major record labels such as Cocoon Recordings by Sven Väth and Трип Records by Nina Kraviz; and were featured in Mixmag's 25th anniversary release by Laurent Garnier. Boshke Beat's release of X-Dream's The 1st was recognized as one of the most prominent tracks in electronic dance music over 25 years.[5]
