Boyan Uddin Chowdhury (Bengali: বয়ান উদ্দিন চৌধুরী; born 19 December 1979) is an English musician. He was the lead guitarist of rock band The Zutons.

Career[edit]

In 2001, Chowdhury became original member of The Zutons which was made up of Dave McCabe, Russell Pritchard and Sean Payne.[1] In July 2007, Chowdhury left The Zutons due to "musical differences".[2] He later formed a new band called The Venus Fury.[3]

In May 2013, Chowdhury collaborated with musician David South and scriptwriter Michelle Langan to produce Shoebox, a musical theatre play set in 1950s Liverpool.[4][5][6]

Chowdhury has also worked with musicians including, Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse and Antônio Pinto.[7]
