Douglas Bradford "Brad" Hall is an American film producer and entrepreneur and is best known as the founder and owner of the entertainment industry website EntertainmentCareers.net.[2] and a co-founder of Reading to Kids [1]
Career[edit]
Hall was a producer on the film The Sky Is Falling in 2000.[3] The film had previously been cancelled due to investors removing themselves from the project, but Hall came onto the project soon after the writing team had raised enough financing themselves to move forward with the film project.[4] His short The Traveling Poet appeared on Late Night with David Letterman in 1993,[5] as did his short Poolside Ecstasy[6] and Housewives: The Making of the Cast Album.
In 2000 he founded EntertainmentCareers.net, which connects job seekers to major movie and music companies.[7][8] In 2003 Hall was featured in the book Guerilla PR Wired. The interview with Hall was featured as an example of best practices in internet based businesses, online marketing and customer service.[9]
Hall is a speaker and guest lecturer on Startups/Entrepreneurship, the Entertainment Industry and Career Management.[10] [11] [12]
Reading to Kids[edit]
In 1999 Hall co-founded Reading to Kids, a 501c3 organization, and served as Treasurer and board member.[1] Reading to Kids is a grassroots organization dedicated to inspiring underserved children with a love of reading, thereby enriching their lives and opportunities for success in the future.[13]
