Brandon Jenner is a Los Angeles singer-songwriter who formally performed in the group Brandon & Leah. His debut EP, Burning Ground amassed over 30 million streams on Spotify. His father is Caitlyn Jenner and mother is musician Linda Thompson (actress). He is step-siblings with the Kardashian family. Grammy.com called Jenner's work, "Heartfelt."[1] Meanwhile, American Songwriter has called his work, "empathetic and emotional."[2] People has called his work "Hopeful".

Career[edit]

Jenner's initial exposure to the music industry came via his stepfather, the producer David Foster. He started songwriting in college under his stepfathers tutelage.[3] Within a few years he was writing music with his then-wife Leah Felder under the moniker Brandon & Leah.[4] It was only in 2012 though when their song 'Showstopper' was chosen to be in his step-siblings TV show, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. The Hollywood Reporter called the song, "Dewy dance-pop."[5] This saw Jenner rapidly gain mainstream exposure in publications including The Hollywood Reporter and Huffington Post. Their debut Cronies reached #82 on the Billboard 200, #16 on the Billboard Independent Albums Charts and #24 on the Billboard Digital Albums charts.[6]

After the breakup of Brandon and Leah, Jenner released his first solo EP, Burning Ground in 2016.[7] The lead single from the EP, 'Burning Ground' has received over 25 million Spotify streams.[8] It also saw him enter regular rotation on Sirius XM's Coffee House station.[9] In 2018 he released his Face The World EP. Atwood Magazine wrote the title track was, "A stunning homage to all that life has to offer." A year later Jenner released his critically acclaimed follow up EP, Plan On Feelings.[1] BroadwayWorld called the EP, "Intimate, vulnerable and personable." In 2020 as a reaction to the murder of Ahmad Aubrey he released a single entitled, 'Say My Name' in collaboration with Emi Secrest. This was later announced to be the first single of what would mark his debut LP announced for fall of the same year.[2] Mystic Sons called the new music, "rich and warming," while Ear to the Ground described the material as able to "make you straighten up and pay attention."[10][11]

Brandon also starred on the program The Princes of Malibu, which LA Weekly called "Terrifyingly on the money."[12]

Family[edit]

Brandon Jenner is the son of Olympic champion and cultural icon Caitlyn Jenner and actress Linda Thompson. His brother is Brody Jenner.[13] His stepfather is David Foster.[3] He is the former stepson of Kris Jenner. This makes him a former stepbrother to the Kardashian family. His step-siblings include Burton, Kendall and Kylie Jenner as well as Cassandra Marino.[14] As a result, he has regularly appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and related programs.[15] He has also appeared on ABC News praising the bravery of his father.[16] In 2020 he married Cayla Stoker.[13]
