Brenda Barrios
Brenda Barrios also known as BB (1998–present) is a filmmaker, muralist, painting, performer, photographer, and murals. She is known for works focusing on justice movement such as work conditions Mexican Americans face and Black Lives Matters. She shows the importance of expressing social justice through art by showing the impacts her work creates.
Biography (or Early Life and Education) Brenda Barrios was born and raised in Pasadena, California, USA, and is a first- generation Mexican American. After graduating from Pasadena High School in Pasadena she then began to attend Pasadena Community College. Later she transferred to the University of Los Angeles in the school of the Arts and Architecture department. As a third-year art transfer students she adds messages pertaining to current events. In 2020 she partnered with Rock the Vote to promote Voting with Latino Communities.
