Brenda Jones-Matthews
Brenda Jones-Matthews is the former mayor of the city of Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana. She was appointed mayor in 2005 to replace former mayor Joe McGuinness, who had died,[1] and succeeded in 2007 by Independent candidate Fred L. Paris.[2]
Previously, she was county clerk of Johnson county, appointed to fill a vacancy in 1995, elected in 1996, and re-elected in 2000. In 1999, the Association of Indiana Counties named her as Outstanding County Clerk of the Circuit Court.[3]
