Brenda Namumba is a postdoctoral fellow at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO)[1] and the first Zambian woman to graduate with a PhD in Astrophysics[2]. Her research is in extra-galactic astronomy including galaxy evolution and star formation.
