Bria Fleming (born June 12, 1995) is an American television and film actress, model, and former Playboy Bunny[1]. She is best known for appearing on the reality television series Summer House: Martha's Vineyard.[2][3][4]

Career[edit]

Television[edit]

In 2017 Fleming appeared on Stranded with a Million Dollars, a survival reality series that premiered on MTV on February 21, 2017. In an interview with Reality Blurb, Fleming said she’d never do anything like that again. “I’m skinny, and I knew what I was signing up for, but I didn’t know it was so real,” she explained. “From there, I just realized if I was ever to be on another show, it would have to be lifestyle, travel, and luxury. That’s something I would want to be on, showcasing my life.” In 2023, Fleming appeared on the first season of the Bravo reality series Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard. She appeared in the series as a main cast member. It was Bria’s friend and co-star, Shanice Henderson, who pitched the idea of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard to her, telling her, “This is just showing our lives, our work, our friendship, how we get drunk, how we travel, [and] our activities,” Bria was immediately on board. Although Bria said she “can’t stand” dating shows, she’s a long-time fan of Bravo reality, and her favourite shows on the network include The Real Housewives of Atlanta as well as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Bria said, prior to the show’s premiere, that Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard will showcase “Black excellence.” She said: “You never really get to see young, Black professionals all together in a home that are all entrepreneurs,” she noted of her cast. “They all have different things going for themselves, and they’re all very successful, wealthy individuals in that way [and] we never really had that on television. So to see that, especially for the Black viewers, it’s great, and they can be motivated and want to be like us. We set a great example".[citation needed]

In June 2023, Fleming appeared on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen[5], alongside her Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard castmate Amir Lancaster.[6]

Acting[edit]

Fleming had a role in the 2022 American horror film Room 203, directed by Ben Jagger. She played Sandy, a television casting director's assistant. She has also appeared in the movies Heavens to Betsy (2017) and Hidden Secrets (2012).

Personal life[edit]

Bria Fleming is in a relationship with Simon Marco Schleinitz.[7] The couple met at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022.[8] Currently, Fleming and Schleinitz live in Munich, Germany with their dachshund, Milo.[9][10]

In May 2023, while visiting Cannes for the Cannes Film Festival, Fleming shared online that she and her younger sister were wrongfully accused of a crime in France. She recounted the incident in a series of TikTok videos and via a statement posted on her personal Instagram account.

Authorities alleged that a woman called the police, accusing the siblings of robbing her inside a Zara store, ultimately leading to their arrest. Fleming claims they were stripped-searched multiple times during an hours-long ordeal at a French police station with male inmates.
