Background
Brian Burkheiser is one of the founding members of the metalcore band I Prevail and the clean vocalist for the band founded in 2013. Part of his band's rise to fame involved a cover of Taylor Swift's hit "Blank Space" that was posted on YouTube and part of the Punk Goes Pop collection and listed as a song on the Heart vs. Mind EP.[1] After the video went viral, the band was signed to Fearless Records. In 2019, Brian underwent treatment for a large polyp that was discovered in his throat. He has also received help for his depression.[2][3]
