Brian Hodges
Brian Hodges is a travel photographer who documents the landscapes and peoples of traditional nomadic societies.[1] He is a regular contributor to Conde Nast Traveler, Photo District News, National Geographic Traveler and GEO Magazine.
Style and subjects[edit]
Much of Hodge’s work is travel portrait photography; he often sets up a field studio to highlight his subjects in front of a white backdrop. Hodges is a member of photographs without borders, and frequently documents the lifestyles of nomadic peoples.[2] [3]
Hodges began in commercial photography, but as his style progressed, he increasingly began working for non-governmental organisations and likes to convey the faces of holy men.[4] Hodges shot for the book, Gypset Living by Julia Chaplin.[5]
