From an early age he wanted to be a National Hunt Jockey but growing to 6'3 and a lack of ability, put an end to that. He did however work in various horse racing yards around Ireland. Brian played Gaelic football badly for Ballinteer St. Johns from an early age through to adult teams. He is a fan of Dublin Football and Limerick Hurling.

Acting[edit]

Brian is an Irish actor playing mainly American roles. Brian says his acting style comes from a keen eye for watching people and their reactions. "The most influential acting schools are outside any café or airport, where you can see real people, real feeling". He has a natural talent for accents which he puts down to having a "listening ear". And bears a striking resemblance to fellow Irish Actor Liam Neeson.

Casting director Ros Hubbard who cast Brian in the 2016 film I.T. (film) opposite Pierce Brosnan: due to his simularity to Liam Neeson.

Brian was cast in J. K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them directed by David Yates playing the role of the Watchman, due to shoot several scenes with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol.
